- Arogya Manthan celebrates the journey of two transformative schemes, 5 years of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) and 2 years of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM).
- To marks the anniversaries of the two schemes, the National Health Authority organized a two-day physical event, Arogya Manthan on 25th and 26th September 2023 at New Delhi.
About:-
- Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, launched on 23 September 2018, has made a significant impact by providing 5.5 crore free hospitalizations worth Rs. 69,000 Crore.
- PM-JAY has ensured that the poor have the access to quality healthcare, with guaranteed assurance up to Rs. 5 lakh per family.
- Around 27,343 hospitals have been enrolled under Ayushman Bharat, providing both cashless, and portable treatment facilities.
- Almost 177 Ayushman PMJAY cards are being made per minute, with 30 hospitals admissions per minute.
- Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, launched on 27 September 2021, aims to create a digital ecosystem connecting various stakeholders in healthcare.
- In two years, it has generated over 45 crore Ayushman Bharat Health Accounts (ABHA) and linked more than 30 crore health records to these accounts.

- The Arogya Manthan feature insightful panel discussions and interactive sessions focusing on various aspects of AB PM-JAY and ABDM.
- Awards were given for effective implementation of PM-JAY and ABDM under various category:
- In terms of highest number of treatments, the awards were won by-
- Large State- Kerala
- Small State- Meghalaya
- Union Territory- Puducherry
- In terms of Gender Equity in Service Delivery, the awards were won by-
- Large State- Karnataka
- Small State- Meghalaya
- Union Territory- Jammu and Kashmir
- The award for facility that generated most number of ABHA Scan and Share tokens was given to AIIMS, Delhi.
